Part-time Mover Jobs
Are you interested in working for a moving company but don’t have previous moving experience? We are happy to train new employees! As long as you have a good attitude and a safe driving record, you can apply to join our team and learn everything you need to know. Our comprehensive training program prepares you to be a safe and responsible mover.
Full-time Mover Jobs
While many of our employees start with part-time jobs, we also offer full-time opportunities. As movers gain experience, they may be promoted to crew leader positions. Crew leaders manage large moves, oversee long-distance moves, and interact with customers and employees on a daily basis, all with minimal supervision.
Career Jobs at CMS
Whenever we can, we like to promote from within. Our owners and all of our current regional managers started out as movers and advanced to the top of their respective offices. This type of advancement is made possible through our Management Trainee Program. Employees who complete our program start out as assistant managers with responsibilities that include dispatching, sales, marketing, and other critical tasks. This program places you on a rewarding career track with greater professional challenges and increasing levels of responsibility. You also receive paid vacation and health insurance benefits. Full-time managers become eligible to participate in profit-sharing programs as well.
Tuition Assistance
Whether working with Charlottesville Moving Solutions is their long-term plan or not, we care about helping our team advance in their careers and education. That’s why we offer tuition assistance for any employee who successfully completes classes while working with us. Assistance is based on the number of hours worked during each semester. The Year-Off Program
Are you a college student who needs to take time away from school? Our Year-Off Program offers flexibility to those seeking some income while taking a break from school. In this program, employees can work for a semester, a few months, or several days a week.
Summer Mover Jobs for College Students
Summer is one of our busiest seasons due to warm weather and school being out, giving families more flexibility to relocate. Since our schedule is so busy, our demand for team members often grows during the season. If you’re living in Charlottesville during the summer and looking for a seasonal job, working as a mover is a great option! We offer flexible, part-time schedules that fit into your plans. During your first summer with us, you can earn anywhere from $5,000 to $8,000. When you return as a crew leader in future summers, you may earn as much as $11,000. Tips from satisfied customers and bonuses earn you even more!
