Pickup days are set by Charlottesville Moving Solutions each season based on UVA's move-out calendar. We'll provide your available pickup options when you book your spot.

Yes, students (or a designee) should be present to hand off their packed belongings on pickup day. Our movers will handle all loading and transport from there.

The $1,600 flat rate is priced per student, not per dorm room. While we understand it's tempting to split costs, managing shared storage between two parties can get complicated, and ensuring that every student's belongings are carefully tracked, handled, and returned correctly is our top priority. Each student who books their own package gets our full attention and care from pickup to return.

Yes! We can deliver to your student's new dorm or local off-campus address in August. Just let us know the destination when you book.

From your May pickup through your August return delivery, the entire summer. There are no monthly charges or additional fees for extended storage.

As early as possible. Move-out season at UVA is busy and spots fill up, especially for the most popular pickup dates in early and mid-May.
